The trust was set up in the year 2014 with a Corpus Fund of Rs. . The trustees are Mr.V.Muthukumar, Mr.M.Ganapathy & Mrs.M.Srividhya. Somewhat on the lines of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of listed corporate companies, each year we spend about Rs. for the welfare of the underprivileged sections of the Society by assisting them in education, hospitalization & medical expense & other charitable purposes. This is our small contribution to the society.
The above apart, the Group has, during cyclone & flood seasons, has helped the poor & needy by providing food, clothes and other reliefs. Recently, the Group also sent flood relief materials to Assam during the floods by providing dress materials, funds and food items. The public at Chidambaram are well aware of our reputation and our helping nature in times of distress.
